Dear Juniors & Parents

Welcome to the 2009 CDGA Junior Tour! We had a successful season in 2008 and can't thank you enough for your support. We have set our 2009 golf calendar and look forward to seeing everyone this summer.

Thank you to all the golf courses that are supporting us this year. Here is our 2009 schedule;

	June 8th	Moccasin Bend Golf Club
	June 30th	Brown Acres Golf Course
	July 6th & 7th	William Bryan Memorial sponsored by CDGA Junior Tour and Lookout Mountain Golf Club
	July 27th & 28th	Danny Tribble Jr. PGA Junior Championship at Creeks Bend
	August 3rd & 4th	City Junior Championship at Cleveland Country Club
	August 11th & 12th	Chattanooga Junior Classic at The Honors

If you don't know much about the CDGA Junior Tour, our goal is to provide you the opportunity to get tournament experience, at an inexpensive price. You will play quality golf courses, some private and some public at $20.00 per tournament, with no joining fees! What we ask for in return is an entry form completely filled out before each deadline, the display of great sportsmanship and treating the golf course with respect. If you can do all of these then we have a place for you to play golf this summer.

For the first time this year we will have an event which will use a different scoring system. The William Bryan Memorial tournament will be a two day CDGA event this year and will utilize the Stableford scoring system. The Stableford system awards points based on the score of each hole. More points are awarded for lower scores and the player with the highest point total is the winner. See the entry form for a detailed description of the Stableford format.

Entry forms will be available as of April 13, 2009. We ask that all players have a completed entry form turned in by entry deadline. Please see entry form for Danny Tribble to get correct entry fee and mailing address. We have gone up on our entry fee, but please remember we do not charge a joining fee.
